Opening the same document in Adobe Reader 8.0 produces a warning dialog
about not being able to load the embedded font Arial Bold. The document
looks OK though, whereas in evince or other poppler-based readers only a
fraction of the text is displayed.

dialog has focus or not, making this bug even more annoying. Try to
guess from this screen shot, at a glance, whether the shutdown dialog
has keyboard input focus or not. But one really shouldn't have to guess!

greeter keyboard-only login difficult after changing settings
This is on Lucid Lynx Alpha 1, running Gnome 2.29.3 under metacity.
How to reproduce:
1) Begin with a clean desktop.
2) Open an instance of Nautilus.
3) Press the power button.
Expected behavior: The shutdown dialog should come up in the foreground,
active and ready to receive keyboard or mouse
OK, so I tried to change the label of an NTFS-formatted volume in Disk
Utility:
Error changing fslabel: helper exited with exit code 1: fstype ntfs not
supported

I'm seeing this on Karmic, too. I'm annoyed by this behavior when I
press CTRL+ALT+DEL to bring up the dialog. I understand the reasoning
about preventing accidental shutdown if somebody inadvertently presses
the power button, but I don't think the same reasoning should apply when
the dialog is
Hey, I always thought that the shutdown dialog (which possibly should be
called something else) should have an option to lock the screen, like in
Windows XP. That option, which is non-destructive if selected by
mistake, should be the default. In that way nobody would have to worry
about the risk
I didn't see this message at all in Jaunty but ever since I started
running Karmic (Alpha 4) I get this message on logging out, concerning
Thunderbird and gconf-editor if they happen to be open. I don't get any
message concerning the greeter.
Does anybody know what changes in Karmic have brought

longer honor the mount points I have manually chosen for my removable
devices.
