Support for PAM in gnome-keyring would be VERY desirable. Not just for
thinkfinger, but to support a whole host of authentication methods (USB
dongle authentication, bluetooth authentication by proximity of mobile
phone...)
In my opinion, this should be considered as a high priority enhancement,
My problem appears to be related to pulseaudio...
The installation is a dist-upgrade from Dapper, there may be something
missing in my configuration that a clean Hardy install has set up.
The workaround for my problem was to go to:
System - Preferences - Sound
and change all the playback sinks

My collection is in OGG format, and I have checked that the files exist
before attempting to play them. The symptoms are the same as what was

To clarify a workaround until the fix is released:
To get the missing icon to appear, you need to run in a terminal:
sudo gtk-update-icon-cache --force --quiet /usr/share/icons/hicolor
