I tried with totem-gstreamer with the nvidia et nv drivers. No bugs noticed (only the fact that after having downloaded the correct gstreamer packages advised by totem-gstreamer, I had to reload the soft). However, the bug is always there when using the xine engine, using the nvidia or nv driver.

The video cards used are GeForce 6 series (6200 Go PCIE and 6600 LE AGP8x) I got the bug with the nvidia drivers (linux-restricted-modules-2.6.20(21 and 22)-generic with the nvidia-glx package. Since I won't have my computers for some days, I can't confirm the bug with the vesa and nv drivers,
