I used to get this problem on Ubuntu Gutsy every couple of weeks, but it
vanished on Ubuntu Hardy, so from my point of view it's fixed. I never
worked out how to reproduce it, and running Evolution under valgrind for
weeks wasn't a practical option.

Runaway leak in composer
My initial problem was a broken mtrr. I'm not sure if that's the fault
of Asus (motherboard), ATI, Intel or Linux... but fixing that lets me
get into X. Unfortunately I'm still having a problem (wait for it...)
with freezing on logout or user switch.

Long URLs only get their first line recognized. Oddly, sometimes it
works fine. If I paste a long URL into vi or the command line, the
whole thing is recognized. If I cat a file with a long URL, the whole
thing is recognized.
Lots of looking suggested that I gave up on this particular Mitsumi. Why
does it work with Windows XP? I tried my Lite-On DVD combo, but got an
intermittent audio cut-out problem. Finally tried a Hitachi CD-RW GCE-
8487B and that seems to work. Other than this CD/DVD hassle, I like
Ubuntu.

I'm experiencing a similar problem, Intel E8400 and Asus 3850 video
card, fglrx driver.
The ati driver works fine, installing the fglrx driver causes a black
screen (and what looks like) a hard lock-up on logout, switch user, and

I have a very similar problem. Account 1 uses SMTP 1, and account 2 SMTP
2. However whenever I want to reply from account 2 it uses SMTP 1, and
unsuccessfully. I have to remove the message from the queue. Changing
the default account in prefs changes the behavior so that SMTP 2 is
always used
I have just tried the workaround above in gutsy. Couple of additionals:
(1) The additions to .bashrc can be summarised to:

My problem was different. About 90% of the time, the filters run on new
mail as expected. Sometimes, without any reconfiguration, I start
Evolution and they just don't run. A killev and restarting Evolution
seems to fix it.
It happened again last week on then current Gutsy:

In my case firefox was in the background when it crashed, I was using
OOffice at the time. I don't think I was using the printer either.
Though I was suprised because it seems the session was killed by the
have clicked on that anyway

Daniel says that 0.13 is supposed to fix this; 0.13.1 is in gutsy right
now. So this bug ought to be fixed. If not, autopkgtest will file a
new bug when it retests this package.
