I am also affected by this.
What about a search all choice? Why do I have to choose whether the
term is in sender etc. always?
Moreover, sometimes the search does not return all results that ought to
be there.
It's a serious usability issue. Please do something.

In Karmic, after importing the .csv file into a new folder in my
contacts,but nothing was imported. Could that be due to the fact that
these contacts are already there in another folder of my evolution
contacts?

I can't find messages I want to find nearly as quickly as I can on Gmail.
Sometimes search keys do not return the same results as
Gmail search, even though those keywords are there in the message.

Mailing Address instead of importing them to the email address field.

What about-
when gedit finds somebody writing codes (it automatically detects the lanugage
already, right?) it suggests in a baloon that says-

indentation menu choices/buttons?
Often in one code, say a for loop in C has to be put in another one. It
is waste of time to indent each and every line by hand.

select them all, right click and open with Evolution. Didn't work. I

I saw a very similar problem. When I edit the task, the time is entered
at 11:00am, let's say. However, on evolution calender view, it shows the
time to be one hour earlier at 10:00 am. (See attachment.) Not hard to
guess, the alarms are being rung at the wrong time.

It happened more than once, and I was not tweaking anything. I didn't
face any such problem in my Ubuntu Hardy (8.04) box. VLC player plays
the file without any problem. So the problem is not with the file!
