I was missing several icons on my gnome-panel, after some looking around I

i've got same problem with all applications using gvfs gio fileselector,
the problem got fixed in package
gvfs (0.1.7-0ubuntu2) hardy; urgency=low

- change from SVN, fix incorrect free usage leading to applications
crashes
i can confirm that gedit no longer crashes after today's software update
as explained above

yes, i confirm, since one of the last daily updates i lost my standard
keyboard, i'm using the Belgium keyboard, and although it is configured as
being the standard keyboard after each reboot i have the standard US keyboard
is use.
