/var/crash/ directory is empty.

Hello,
i am using nvidia binary drivers on my laptop with 1440x900 resolution, x11vnc
and gnome-screensaver. From time to time gnome-screensaver segfaults, sometimes
the first time i start x11vnc, sometimes after the 10th time i start x11vnc, it
just crashes randomly.

i got the same problem with xubuntu 8.04 over here, my system freezes after a
few seconds. xpdf says 'Bogus memory allocation size' - evince freezes or tries
to allocate much more memory.
