the same problem with my f-spot, both in 8.04 alpa6 and mar-9th daily-build

i didn't import any image to it, just open it and scroll the date-bar and close
it, then it crashes.

Trying to obtain a Valgrind trace with this command:
G_SLICE=always-malloc G_DEBUG=gc-friendly valgrind -v --tool=memcheck
--leak-check=full --num-callers=40 --log-file=valgrind.log f-spot
I obtain an error. Check the attachment.
