I can confirm this bug on the Kodak V603 and F-Spot (the GNOME default thumbnail thingie can import). After doing a bit of research, I was led to a newer version of libgphoto2. By backporting 2.1.99 from Debian Experimental, I resolved this issue. -- libgphoto2-2: Cannot import photos from Kodak
