Doing some tests here: Running Gutsy on client and Dapper in server with this command: X :1 -query hostname_of_gutsy_machine_running_gdm I could login in server but couldn't logout. Had to come back to terminal (Gnome) and ctrl-C to finish the remote session. This gave me some keyboard err.

I don't know why, but scince yesterday it works on my home machine. I can connect from another machine (windowsxp with xming) to my gutsy gibbon. And locally wiht Xnest :1 -query 127.0.0.1 works to. In booth cases i had the ugly empty grey x-window with the x-cursor, now i see the login screen.
