On 23.10 Ubuntu Mantic Minotaur (development branch). Noticed this when
upgrading to gnome-shell 45~beta.1-0ubuntu2
While the cursor itself behaves normally on portrait mode (I can fully
drag around windows and click on things normally), how it's drawn is
not.
We're aware of this bug and it is already fixed upstream. In the
meantime you can add a workaround to /etc/environment:
MUTTER_DEBUG_DISABLE_HW_CURSORS=1
and then reboot. This workaround mode is also what the screen recorder
uses.
