Partially confirmed. It looks like the onscreen keyboard is always disabled by default. You have to enable it in: Settings > Accessibility > Typing > Screen Keyboard = ON After I did that, all the features mentioned here started working. ** Package changed: mutter (Ubuntu) => gnome-shell
