I'm running jaunty from a fresh intrepid install. epiphany is downloading in /tmp. I'm seeing that in epiphany preferences the downloading folder is set to file system, and even if I change it to Desktop (as I was used), closing the preferences and opening them again re-set downloading folder to

This started happening after XULRunner 1.9 final was made available. I suppose the Ubuntu developers don't really care too much about Epiphany. Sometimes, the XULRunner download dialogue appears also. -- autodownloading doesn't save files in proper folder https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/239305
