thanks for your report, I've tried to reproduce this but if i press
delete the file is just deleted from the brasero ui (project) and is not
sent to the trash, may you tell us a few steps in order to reproduce it?

Hmm, now when trying to reproduce it I'm thinking it was probably that
after dragging the file from the desktop into the brasero project, it
is still highlighted/marked on the desktop and pressing delete moves
it from there to the trash can. As the file/folder is highlighted in
the brasero project
