Thanks Sebastien, I can confirm that the issue is addressed after the
updates (and a restart). I think Intrepid will benefit from this
usability bug being squashed.

Just to add that this is still an issue even when a password isn't asked
for. Clicking on volumes only mounts them and doesn't open a nautilus
instance for them.
This is also an issue in the Places menu on the main Gnome toolbar.
Every other entry causes a window to appear, but not volumes.
