What version of Ubuntu are you using? Nautilus in Hardy has a vertical
scrollbar for me.

Yeah, I should have made that clearer. You're talking about the list
view, I'm talking about the new compact view that's available only in
Intrepid. You won't find it in Hardy.

Hardy has it in View - Arrange Items - Compact Layout
Or does Intrepid have both that and what you're talking about? Anyway,
what version of Nautilus are you using? If both forms of Compact exist
that could explain difference of view between the two Intrepid users.

Intrepid has a new view in Nautilus, which this bug refers to (the
Compact View, as seen in Windows and Thunar and the like).

Hello,
I opened /usr/bin (or any folder with a lot of files) in nautilus with compact
mode on.
What appears is a vertical scrollbar, and the mousewheel works.
Can you precise how you got this horizontal scrollbar? Any special option to
set up?

I know that's the way the compact view is supposed to look by default :?
