Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: evolution

I've had this problem since updating to intrepid a couople of weeks ago.
currently with evolution 2.24.1-0ubuntu2.

every time my laptop resumes from sleep -- and therefore loses its
wireless connection & has to reconnect -- evolution hangs while pinging
my imap server. Once i kill the ping task by pressing the red X box in
the bottom status bar (is that the right name?) evolution begins to
function again, but in the meantime any task that requires the network
fails, and often other taks as well (e.g. switching mailboxes, etc). It
seems to me that evolution is not getting the offline signal from
network-manager, but i can't be sure that's the problem, and as i only
notice a real problem in evolution, i'm reporting here. please let me
know if there's anything i can do to debug.

** Affects: evolution (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
