Hello, I think the issue is because you used sudo to change the settings: sudo gconf-editor AFAIK, gconf setting are saved on a per user basis. Thus running sudo gconf-editor will affect the root user, not the user you use on a daily basis. Do not use sudo, try this: gconf-editor, perform the
