Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gnome-control-center
Using Ubuntu 8.10 (up to date). I've downloaded the UbuntuStudio sounds package and set it in Gnome sound preferences (selected as sound theme; my problem appears too if I select custom sounds and manually choose each sound file per action). When powering my PC on and first logging in, the original Ubuntu login music is played instead of the one I've selected. If I log out and log in back, the correct chosen music is played. No problems either with subsequent logins : it happens only at the first login of the day. It seems like Gnome won't use the sound preferences the first time it loads. ** Affects: gnome-control-center (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New -- Wrong startup music at first boot https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/314333 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gnome-control-center in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
