Hello! I've got the same error message, it appears after upgrade Ubuntu from 8.10 till 9.04. Additionally, Synaptic and other pkg managers not working (they show some errors after they were launched). In recovery mode i can upgrade packages, but I see errors like Can't open openpty(). Not
