I had the same issue (folders with no name which couldn't be removed) on Evolution 2.28.3 on Lucid Lynx. Backed up my .evolution folder then deleted .evolution/mail/mapi/myaccount folder and restarted Evolution. Took a couple of minutes to rebuild inbox and other folders from exchange but problem

So a little update on the subject. The error recreation. When setting up a new imap account using the Evolution Mail Configuration Assistant (on a gmail account for me) if the checkbox Show Only Subscribed Folders is checked the resulting folder tree contains the notorious unnamed folder.

hello sebastien, sorry i had lost track of this bug... i had to wipe my old home dir, it was turning into a mess, hence i can't try that... right now, with my newly created evolution user profile i am NOT having this issue anymore, I'll keep you updated and notify you should the problem arise
