Yes i have exactly the same problem. All other necessary codecs installed
(libdvdc..., totem-xine, libnavr..).
Jaunty 32 Bit with all updates. Same output as above.

* Install from desktop live cd (32-bit in my case)
* Update packages
* Insert DVD
* Choose to open with Totem
* Totem tells that GStreamer is missing a plugin (I think, I'm currently at
