Using Ubuntu 10.04 Beta, I can successfully see the contacts, but any edits (delete, new, change a contact) result in authentication errors. Note the password is definitely right -- the contacts do show up. Any ideas here? -- google contacts: error loading address book

Sorry for the spam related to this bug, I've the latest version of Ubuntu and I have the same error whilst adding a google address book in Evolution Mail. I added the correct password and the correct user (without @gmail), hit the ssl box, and I still get the initial error which was posted here...
