I have juste tested this behaviour on another computer, with Ubuntu Jaunty (compiz 0.8.2), and, on this computer, compiz is behaving correctly: the new window appears behind the one with which I'm interacting ! However, the problem is still the same with Metacity. Does that mean that there was a
