Im sorry, my fault. I did not realize, that thuderbird does not even have own
tray icon.
I managed it via thunderbird plugin, and there is a bug in this plugin having
this behaviour. Thanks

Im thinking gnome-panel more so than tbird. It maybe gnome-panel+compiz
but not sure.

Hi, I know... I am not able (as I mention it) to reproduce it, too. It
comes randomly (only a little)... I was hoping that someone having this
problem will maybe give me some advice how to get rid of it. When it
starts bugging and I restart window manager, the bug suddenly
dissappers.
