As this seems to be a problem with sshfs (rather than Nautilus) it makes
sense to me for someone to forward this bug up-stream and get the sshfs
guys looking at it.

Ubuntu better. A new version of Nautilus is available on Maverick and we
are wondering if this bug is still an issue for you with that version?

I have just this problem, but I want to add some information:
It is not a Nautilus problem, but a sshfs problem. If I try to make any
modification on the remote filesystem, that is not possible, even from
the console. Nautilus is just suffering the same problem as the rest of
applications.
