I agree with the original reporter, this is a regression. I use this for copying file locations into scripts, etc. Very useful to have this. The icon which existed in previous versions to change between breadcrumbs to location bar, is now gone. Why? You can use CTRL+L to get it back, but this is

I have no idea how to enable the location bar from Nautilus's GUI, but you can set the it to be default in gconf-editor by: Opening gconf-editor (as your user) Apps nautilus preferences Checking always_use_location_entry -- Location window option is missing from nautilus
