Public bug reported: Binary package hint: evolution-data-server
This is a typical profile for evolution-data-server when I notice a memory shortage: mdz 2082 0.0 43.8 1338128 647688 ? Sl Apr09 1:22 /usr/lib/evolution/evolution-data-server-2.28 --oaf-activate- iid=OAFIID:GNOME_Evolution_DataServer_CalFactory:1.2 --oaf-ior-fd=36 The oom-killer has been invoked on this system 30 times in the past few weeks (usually killing chromium). Bug 305428 describes a similar phenomenon. I suspect this is related to importing calendar events from Google Calendar, especially in light of the Debian bug report at http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=462664 ProblemType: Bug DistroRelease: Ubuntu 10.04 Package: evolution-data-server 2.28.3.1-0ubuntu1 ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.32-12.17-generic Uname: Linux 2.6.32-12-generic i686 Architecture: i386 Date: Thu Apr 15 15:15:15 2010 ProcEnviron: LANGUAGE=en_US:en LC_COLLATE=C PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/zsh SourcePackage: evolution-data-server ** Affects: evolution-data-server (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: evolution-data-server (Debian) Importance: Unknown Status: Unknown ** Tags: apport-bug i386 lucid -- evolution-data-server consumes massive amounts of memory, invokes OOM killer https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/563879 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to evolution-data-server in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
