That request has already been made upstream on
http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=312100 and rejected. If you
want to argue about it could you do it upstream? We are not likely to
implement something upstream doesn't want about for its software

Thank you for your bug. Could you describe one problem only by bug? I'm
closing your feature requests, The close tray option doesn't look like
something that many users would have use for (you usually close the tray
when you put a CD in the drive or get the CD you just ejected) and it
would cluter

Blanking CD-RW is offered by *all* CD burning software excepted
nautilus.
And the reason it is there because people actually use this feature (in
particular complete blanking), having a dummy 700MB ISO around just to
blank a CD-RW is not a user friendly solution, don't you
why do you need to blank a CD if you don't want to record something else
on it?

Because I want to remove the data that is on it (at least superficially
- it's not high security stuff). Just like rm -rf for a regular disk
data :).
