In the GNOME bugzilla someone reported that vte 0.16.8 made things working again. I built some packages from gutsy's sources (don't try to install the packages from gusty, it won't work). You can fetch the packages from: http://blaubeermuffin.de/vte-fix-for-ubuntu/ So, I can confirm that these
