its not being used and when I try to use it again, I get IO errors,

After further inverstigation of the problem, I've found another
workaround. As stated above, a similar, if not the same, issue existed

Hmm Well it has been a while since I looked at it but all I did to
create the bug was use the GUI user-admin too to reassign a user to a
group. I noticed after that that directories the users should have had
access to they did not. Further investigation showed that they were not in
the
me too consistently when pasting in a large clipboard. I'll try to get
debug data posted later this week when work dies down a bit. My work-
around is to use geany.

So I went and gave it a try under gdb. I decided to give it a fist run
without breakpoints, and I was surprised to see a three errors being
output -- exactly about the GTK dialog that _should_ be shown.

The only thing that comes to my mind right now is that something is
hosed under the ~/.evolution directory. You can try two things:
1. rm -rf ~/.evolution/calendar (since it is the calendar init that is
failing)
or
2. rm -rf ~.evolution (since this user has not really used Evo so far).

No. I'm almost positive it's an issue with the webhost. I've also
tried it through an in-house smtp server and it works just fine. I'll

Likewise, most of the reports did very simple things. I tried to add a new
user. (However, it's also likely that a defunct user of the same name was
in /etc/group or /etc/passwd because once upon a time those had been
copied from another machine.)
