Thank you for the Valgrind log. Although it is useful -- it does show a
series of lost memory areas --, it will not help us on the E-D-S
issue... Valgrind only looked at Evolution, not E-D-S.
For you to get valgrind against E-D-S, you have to:
1. stop all of Evolution: on a terminal

I can confirm that the nautilus copies and then deletes the files when
moving them from trash.
To reproduce:
Create a large file (the large one will allow you to see the difference between
moving and copying+deleting)
Delete it
Note that the file gets moved to trash almost instantaniously.
Now
When i unmount USB harddrive it prompts me if i wish to delete the files
currently in the trash.

The FTP save is not on by default because when you save the file, gnome-vfs
replace 644 permissions by 666 which is not supported by web servers for
security reasons.

Had this problem yet again this morning on a fully updated Hardy Heron.
I did not have a network at login time, I'm pretty sure I've only seen
it in that situation (I am dependent on wifi a lot, though not always).
I will work on getting the symbols installed so that I can trace this
next time.

I have noticed this also with swapping control and caps lock. Another
workaround is to enable this option specifically in /etc/X11/xorg.conf

I can't mount a public share with username and password with gvfs in
Hardy. The attempt by "connect to server - Windows Share" does ask for
password if an username is entered, but the connection is not done
correctly and I can't get write permission.
Same problem, I upgraded from Gutsy to Hardy 8.04. Originally I didn't
have the login problem but I did have a lot of trouble getting the
initial upgrade to work with my video card (NVIDIA Quadro 4 280NVS).
After I changed the video driver from nvidia-glx to nvidia-legacy, my
video worked, but the
