Another option would be using konqueror with KDE instead of gnome and
friends for browsing windows shares. I sometimes use konqueror, that
works too.
But I also wish, that this problem gets fixed.

nautilus does not display samba shares for machines inside an ADS network.
I was wrong, totem now only used resindvd instead of dvdreadsrc. There
doesn't seem to be any actual seek support from totem's menus.
By the way, all those who are testing menu and seek support please make
sure that you get gstreamer-plugins-bad0.10 from my PPA.

Still not fixed in Hardy. I have reproduced this bug several times now. This
new launchpad system is ridiculous when it is impossible to file a bug to the

I am afraid, I pretty closely follow the intrepid uploads, so there are
quite a few upgrades.

I rebooted into 2.6.24 and the problem persists, so I don't think this
is strictly a kernel issue. Looking at g-p-m now.

thank you for your work on this update. the tarball you used seem to not
be the upstream on though, the md5sum doesn't correspond to the GNOME
one. Could you also update the autoreconf patch to not list the
autom4te.cache directory nor config.h.in~ there? otherwise the update
looks correct good

Subprocess paste killed by signal ( Broken pipe ) upgrading from hardy to
intrepid i386. No way to continue the upgrade. Also using -f
Ah yes, I forgot to remove the autom4te.cache directory - that's an
oversight on my part. The md5sum's probably don't match because the
upstream tarball is tar.bz2, and I converted it to tar.gz. I should
probably mention that in the changelog?
I'll have a look at it when I get home this evening.
