AFAIK, Ubuntu ships only the free codecs and if you select them all it
fits in UDP, the issue occurs when you add the non-free codecs.
Do you use the package from Ubuntu? If so, does the PDU exceed 1500?

I am confused. You do know that, if the page is in landscape, you don't
need to change anything in the print setup settings, just print as
usual, and it should print in landscape mode, yes? I have actually

With a freshly updated 8.04, I see this hang on absolutely every

Issue #1: Upgrading from 2.20 to 2.26 leaves you with two configuration
files. Pretty confusing I'd say - especially because you have to
manually configure GDM since there is no graphical tool (yet?) to do it.
Issue #2: Fresh installations just install 'custom.conf', which isn't

That would help, but they still wouldn't *look* like they respond to a
single click. Using buttons instead of a list would also eliminate the
ugly no-border transition from light grey to white (or equivalent for
your chosen theme).

I created a wav file that was about 60 seconds long in duration and I assigned
this as my incoming call sound event.
This was a bad idea.
What happens now is this: If someone calls me, Ekiga plays the whole
