Sorry, I no longer have that machine so I am not able to test
same-for-same. If it means anything, on my current laptop, running

Just upgraded to 12.04 and the bug is still there and it is even a
little worse. The Menu bar acrros the op of the screen now get cut off
at the same point.
It looks like the cut off happens at 2048 pixels - Which does not look
like a random number.

Sound Juicer ejects CD while ripping
That's a good question. The crash comes up immediately after logging
in for the first time after a reboot or cold start. I am new to the
testing process as I was asked to participate about three weeks ago. I
am on Alpha-5 8.10.
