If the mail is only encrypted using your recipient's public key it is
only natural that he is the only one who is able to read it. After all,
you don't have access to his private key, do you? :-)
If you go into Evolution's Account editor and the tab Security you'll
find the option Always encrypt
I then take it you think that the option Always encrypt to myself when
sending encrypted messages (Account editor / Security) should be
enabled by default? That this bug report specifically is about Evolution
having a faulty default setting?

What's happening when you are connecting to webdav share using Connect
to server dialog is that the path /folder is sent to the server. This
is no matter if you specify /folder or /folder/.
When your server is getting the /folder (without trailing slash) it
sends a http 301
Are you sure about http://www.waus.org/player-28.html being the URL to
the actual audio stream? To me it looks more like some kind of web based
player, require an unknown plugin.
Looking at www.waus.org I did find the url
mms://livestream.andrews.edu/waus-28 which does point to an audio
stream.
I used a web browser to visit that link you provided. It only redirects
to a login page. I guess you are already logged in, and sees something
else.
