I've never seen playlists work in ubuntu/rhythmbox. I was hopeful after
hearing about updates to rhythmbox in ubuntu 10.04, but after trying
playlist modifications I see nothing has changed in that department.
I can create a playlist and it saves, but no changes to the playlist are
saved.

I seem to have the same problem. I get a total of 8 pop-up errors when
trying to connect my samsung instinct phone (which shows on most systems

I am unable to do anything with the name column. Currently nautilus is
set to display list view with name | size | date. Attempting to resize
name|size does nothing. Resizing size|date resizes name in a crazy
unintuitive way. For example: moving to the right with the size|date
line causes the name

I am also having problems getting 5.1 sound. After messing with
'.asoundrc' and several other hacks, I was able to get 5.1 sound working
with a couple of players. However, now when I attempt to play something
with totem (xine), it kills 5.1 for the entire system. I end up with

I'll add a bit of clarification. With my 4th G iPod, I am able to view
and change playlists with rhythmbox in gutsy. However, none of the
changes are saved. When I unplug the ipod, the playlists are just as
they were before making the changes.

Same here. Extremely annoying.
1- open existing file (any application)
2- choose save-as
3- browse to *any* directory and the filename is deleted.

Same problem here on Feisty. My /home is on a separate partition, and I

This happens consistently in rhythmbox and totem when I attempt to
change volume via keyboard (remote control mapped to volume in my case).
1- It only happens when Totem or Rhythmbox is the active application.
2- The freeze is complete; app is unresponsive; although it does keep playing,
