To reproduce the issue:
Delete all contacts from Evo that are synced with Exchange account.
* Open Outlook 2007.
* Click on the Addressbook and choose the GAL.
* Select all and right-click to choose add to contacts
* wait
* Close and re-open Evolution
* After all the contacts have synced,

This is an issue for me as well.
samba:

I don't think this has ever worked in Intrepid. I don't think this is a
Samba issue however, since Gnome Commander works just fine for me. Using
the gvfs tools do not.

Initially, the Exchange email account displays an inaccurate number
about the the unread messages. After if finishes refreshing the account,
the number is accurate.

Initial problem is Bug #131616, (not able to connect to the GAL) so as a
workaround, going into Outlook and adding all the GAL entries to the
contacts folder.
After syncing the contacts, all the names and distribution names appear

Upgraded to Intrepid from Hardy. Using hosted
Instead of opening a new bug, I will add to this one. With Intrepid A3,
I can browse some servers on our AD network but no shares are shown. If
I try to map a connection manually, it is unsuccessful.
