Public bug reported: Binary package hint: gdm
My symptoms are the same as bug 395103: although my keymap is set to dvorak in HAL, and previous versions of gdm honored this, it's now using a USA keymap. There is a drop-down which allows a keymap to be selected, but selecting Dvorak doesn't seem to have any effect (the keymap remains USA/qwerty). I see the patch was dropped because this is believed fixed upstream, so I'm filing this separately as it may be a different problem: gdm (2.26.1git20090717-0ubuntu1) karmic; urgency=low [...] * Drop patches which are fixed upstream: [...] - 02_dont_force_us_keyboard.patch ProblemType: Bug Architecture: amd64 Date: Sat Jul 18 12:07:23 2009 DistroRelease: Ubuntu 9.10 Package: gdm 2.26.1git20090717-0ubuntu1 ProcEnviron: LC_COLLATE=C PATH=(custom, user) LANG=en_US.UTF-8 SHELL=/bin/zsh ProcVersionSignature: Ubuntu 2.6.31-3.19-generic SourcePackage: gdm Uname: Linux 2.6.31-3-generic x86_64 ** Affects: gdm (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Tags: amd64 apport-bug -- Greeter doesn't have the right keymap set https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/401047 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Desktop Bugs, which is subscribed to gdm in ubuntu. -- desktop-bugs mailing list desktop-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/desktop-bugs
