Sometimes the drum sounds on login actually get played but after that the
computer stays mute.

Hello,
I see the status is confirmed but no one is assigned to it. My laptop
keeps crashing crashing every 1 to 2 days on 12.04. (it was rock solid
on the previous versions. Running for weeks/months without a reboot.)
If some one tells me which logs to collect i'm more then happy to supply
them.

I know Canonical doesn't have the resources to port everything in
Universe that uses its APIs, but in the future it would be nice to at
least file bugs for the rdepends before landing the change. Especially
when the change lands so close (after?) feature freeze.
