I'd like to add that LighDM do appear, but partially. There's no top
menu and background. After entering my credentials the login screen
hangs. I tried to reinstall Unity and LightDM, but it didn't help,

No, i can't reproduce initial bug.
After powertop optimisation i get about 20 wk/s. Just to make sure the suystem
is idle.
On plain Xorg i get 125fps. Without any glitches.
With and without patches i get same results.

Ah, that's broken - we are not using vsync. Presumably it failed to get
permission to open /dev/dri/card0 and so is using indirect rendering
(which does not respect vsync).

So results are absolutely unusable. with moving mouse fps will drop to 5fps.
With moving mouse - 60fps. Results are same, before and after this patch set.

One thing that I didn't notice any had mentioned already. It seems that
when the screen starts to jump around it will sometimes jump again after

A have SB X-Fi xtreme audio notebook (express card) (CA0110-IBG) and
it's working on 13.10, but was't without some changes in settings (12.04
and 12.10 need this too. 10.04-11.10 card was warking out of the box I
think). In terminal type: alsamixer - press F6 to change sound card to
X-Fi -
