Hi Dariusz,
The command above you request me didn't output nothing for me on the
console, it executes but doesn't show me any results.
I will try when back home to install the linux-image-extra package with
the kernel 3.16 and check if that resolves my network missing problem
under that kernel.
Elvis,
When I was playing around with the new kernel on my Utopic machine, I
had the same problem I first. I noticed the find command would not
output anything unless I also installed the new linux-image-extra
package that was built along side the kernel from Dariusz.
For example for me:
I just double checked, MST support does NOT work unless the updated
linux-image-extra package is installed. If it is not, even with the
updated linux-image package, the displays will remain mirrors of each
other.

nvidia-331 331.20-0ubuntu0.0.2: nvidia-331 kernel module
Public bug reported:
For some strange reason, we cannot connect to WiFi on hardware with a
descrete Nvidia GPU (using the nvidia-331 driver) when the system is
running off a fast SSD.
Swap the SSD for a platter drive, and things work fine. Likewise, on
Intel GPU systems, with either an SSD or a
