So I've tested other speakers too and this isn't a problem with the
speaker itself. It also works perfectly fine on Windows 10 and 11.
External speaker creates buzzing sound when sound settings not open, the
sound is random at times, can happen at start up or when opening

am very surprised, as I am facing the same behaviour on a freshly
installed Ubuntu 22.04 LTS :
on Wayland, using DING triggers opacity in ubuntu-dock with dynamic-
transparency,
it's okay on Xorg.

Hi folks,
thank you for the hard work on this bug! I've tested out the debdiff for
Jammy, and unfortunately it seems we're still missing some pieces. A
fresh install with the fixed version looks ok, but when upgrading from
the previous version, I can still see the old link under
