I just switched from Geary to Thunderbird because Geary is not sending
emails reliably for me and the new Thunderbird 115 looks and feels
great. I was looking though for this exact feature. I do agree with the
speakers before me that this is such an integral feature of an email

1. I have deleted the card0 file and restarted my machine. I still
experience the same slowdown using wayland, but not when logging in with
x11. The effects are still evident when opening a folder with nautilus,
when navigating the system settings, and when choosing a download
location for a file
How do I remove everything all settings and all accounts so that I can
manually try to set it up from scratch. I tried to manually do this by
deleting the snap directory but the local folders local directory keeps
going to the wrong location. Upgrading does not work.

A few things since I last posted:
After having done the below command...
`amixer -c 1 cset numid=3,name='Speaker Force Firmware Load' 1`
Every subsequent reboot the audio never broke. I had multiple 2+ hour
sessions with no issue.
