I tested an upgrade from Lunar to Mantic today using ubuntu-release-
upgrader version 23.10.7 which changed the snap update process from
`snap refresh` to `snap switch` and still encountered this issue.

I tested this again today with an Ubuntu desktop legacy image dated
20230918 and encountered the same bug where the screenreader works with
ubiquity if you do not choose "Try Ubuntu" and launch the installer
again.
If this isn't going to be fixed or isn't fixable then I suggest we close
this out

I was upgrading from Lunar to Mantic the other day and left a couple of
applications open during the upgrade process. During the upgrade the
text in audacious became unreadable (I'll attach a screenshot) and I
seem to recall the title bar of Firefox being unreadable but the

I was following the "First login wizard" test plan on the ISO tracker
and clicked on 'Open "Ubuntu Software" now" and nothing happened.
However, clicking on individual software icons does launch it.
