The test kernel is meant to specifically address the unable to click
outside window bug, but it may have the side benefit of fixing other
parts as well.

are there any specific tests i should do?
I could just install the kernel and wait for it to show up but due to
the fact that it's happening randomly it's hard to tell wether it is
gone or not.
