@sskyman: you do not have debugging symbols installed for Phonon and
phonon-backend-gstreamer, please install those, your backtrace is not
useful. Also please make sure all 3rd-party scripts are disabled before
reproducing it

The crash might as well be a problem with Phonon or the Phonon backend you use,
or any other library Amarok depends on. All the debugging symbols are packaged
in Kubuntu, just install them.
Also please provied at least the backtrace so we can see what exactly is
missing.
