Assuming XFCE and Gnome classic to work the same here, this works as expected on Ubuntu 13.10/XFCE. Thus closing as fixed released as it is fixed in the latest Ubuntu release. This might be included in an update for Ubuntu 12.04 (or another series), if you desire so, please target the bug
