[Desktop-packages] [Bug 1266961] Re: nautilus: after scrolling in window, files that weren't visible show no rename label

2014-04-26 Thread Tony
I just installed Ubuntu 14.04 and I'm using Nemo 1.8.4 since Nautilus doesn't support an extra visible pane anymore (F3). I believe Nemo is based on Nautilus and I've got the exact problem as mentioned in this bug report. Does anyone have an idea how to fix this? -- You received this bug

Thanks for the bug report, I can confirm in trusty and that seems fixed with nautilus 3.10 (the update is being considered/tested). If we don't get the new version then we should look at backporting the fix for that issue ** Changed in: nautilus (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided = High **

ok, it was indeed an issue with the new GTK with an easy commit, I've backported that to trusty so we don't have a less usable filemanager until the 3.10 situation is sorted out -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in

The same bug is also present in Nemo so it looks like a gtk+ 3 is the source of the problem. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1266961 Title: nautilus: after scrolling

This also effects nautilus 3.10.1 from the GNOME 3 PPA. I noticed it trying to rename files such as .gconf and .config to test fresh profiles. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Desktop Packages, which is subscribed to nautilus in Ubuntu.
