Title:
Print dialogue's height in Libreoffice Writer is too
Thanks a lot, Heather! Experience tells me the likelihood that patch
will easily apply to older major versions is extremely small. That said,
I'm looking towards the future. Having this report "live" will help us
keep track of things until that time comes. Thanks again!

No worries. I changed it to Triaged so we keep it more visible (good
point) and if it seems like an "easy" fix that would still apply to 6.4,
then we would consider backporting it.
** Changed in: libreoffice (Ubuntu)
Status: Won't Fix => Triaged

Of course making it Won't Fix will render this bug all but invisible,
though, and there are future release versions to consider. I don't want
to get into a status war especially given I'm not in the LibreOffice
team, but I'm sure this won't ever come up on my radar again given that
status. Even
If the fix gets backported to the 6.4 branch in the upstream source,
then we can do an SRU but it is doubtful that will happen. (see above
comments about this fix being available in 7.2)

Heiko Tietze committed a patch related to this issue.
It has been pushed to "master":
https://git.libreoffice.org/core/commit/149807eb6100090e178505ba4a264bb38eba1e0c
Resolves tdf#127782 - Print dialog height
It will be available in 7.2.0.
The patch should be included in the daily builds
The last patch stores the state of the "More" expanders and should
remember the window size (might not work for some reason).
I suggest to create new tickets if something needs fine-tuning.

Workaround might be to maximize the window. But please try a nightly

Dave, it appears the fix for this bug is in LibreOffice 7 (Ubuntu

That's why this is marked as fixed, but also most Ubuntu users including

I would just like to record that the recent Ubuntu mutter fix referenced here
